A calm voice, eyes filled with hope and zest, Nina Gheddar possesses a unique personality, animated by a strong sense of purpose. After schooling in Modern Literature, Nina works for a variety of national and local media outlets. In addition, she is committed to tutoring teenagers, explicitly dropouts - a legacy that might come from having parents who are social workers. She has certainly inherited from them her human approach to people, as well as her drive to serve the general interest.
And, in her own words, that’s precisely what Guiti News is about. Co-founder of Guiti News, she’s currently assuming the role of executive editor. Her mission here is still driven from her purpose: to process information on migration differently. She fuels herself from her strong connections to her colleagues, who come from a vast diversity of cultures and backgrounds. Said connections motivate and support her only wish :for Guiti to keep flourishing. She is especially hopeful for the educational workshops for media. Those workshops, which Guiti has created, allows one to debate and develop their critical thinking.
